Getting Around The Local Area by Motorbike, Scooter or ATV
Motorbike Rental shops are plenty in Didim and Altinkum area. Not only can you hire motorbikes and scooters, some establishments hire out single and double ATV Quads and 2,3 or 4 seated 3 wheeler mobility bikes too!
So, if you want to get around by yourselves more easily while on holiday, make sure to bring your International Driving License. It is compulsory for the driver and passengers to wear a crash helmet while riding these types of motorised vehicles on the road.
It would be a good idea to check out what the Turkish road signs mean as not all roads have English translations and the roundabouts are used in a different way here than the UK. Don't forget, they drive on the right side of the road in Türkiye!
