Didim Beaches

Altinkum translated means “Golden Sands” – what an appropriate name! There are 3 Blue Flag Beaches, a prestigious, international award scheme which acts as a guarantee to tourists that a beach or marina they are visiting is one of the best in the world. They all slope gently and are very safe for families with children.

3rd Beach in Altinkum is a fantastic destination for those looking for a more laid-back and peaceful beach experience. Unlike the bustling Main Beach and 2nd Beach, this spot is slightly more secluded, offering a calm and relaxing atmosphere while still providing excellent facilities and entertainment options nearby.

With its soft golden sands and crystal-clear waters, 3rd Beach is perfect for sunbathing and swimming. The sea here is shallow and warm, making it ideal for families, couples, and solo travellers alike. Visitors can enjoy:

Third Beach is to the west of Altinkum main beach. Just beyond Third beach is Didim Marina, currently one of the largest in Türkiye which opened in September 2009 and has space for approximately 1200 boats. There are shops, café bars and restaurants within the marina and a Yacht Club.
